Product Details
APC Far Red 718 is a novel non-tandem allophycocyanin (APC) developed to emit in the far-red spectrum. This unique shift into the far-red region provides researchers with a brighter, more affordable, highly photostable dye that serves as an excellent alternative to Alexa Fluor 700, Spark Red 718, and APC-iFluor700 in multi-color flow cytometry panels.
Unlike tandem dyes, APC Far Red 718 avoids complications associated with energy transfer and signal decay, delivering consistent performance across experiments. Its emission profile makes it particularly valuable for applications requiring reduced spectral overlap and precise data resolution. Third-party researchers have reported that APC Far Red 718 offers 40% better performance when compared to APC-iFluor 700.
We are now offering APC Far Red 718 in native dye format (10mg size), enabling researchers to label their own antibodies for use in flow cytometry or other fluorescence-based applications. With its ease of labeling and compatibility across standard flow cytometers (633nm/red laser), this dye empowers scientists to design customized experiments with confidence and flexibility. Use of APC Far Red 718 requires no licensing or royalties. APC Far Red 718 is for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
